Fuller Center Armenia is a covenant partner of Fuller Center for Housing, established in the spring of 2005. After 29 years of unwavering and tireless service to the poor with Habitat for Humanity, Millard Fuller, founder and president of Habitat, was motivated to expand his vision of eliminating substandard housing worldwide. Fuller Center for Housing Armenia was registered in spring 2008.
Fuller Center for Housing Armenia assists in building and renovating safe, simple, comfortable homes, with and for low-income families in Armenia, by offering them long-term, interest free loans, as well as by advocating the right to decent shelter.
Fuller Center Armenia provides long-term, interest-free loans to low-income families. Their monthly repayments flow into the Revolving Fund and are used to help more families, thereby providing the financial foundation for a sustainable community development effort.
The construction programs of Fuller Center Armenia include but are not limited to the following: completion of half-built house, purchase of an affordable apartment, roof reconstruction, heating and sanitation system installation, interior renovation.
